Cheick arrived in the U.S. on his own at age 16 and enrolled in high school, but was told—illegally—that he had to leave and transfer to a high school equivalency program.
Gabriel, a kindergarten student with speech delays, needed a bilingual class and speech therapy but the DOE wasn't responding to his mother's pleas for help.
AFC was able to secure bilingual remedial tutoring for Christian to help make up for all the years the DOE failed to provide him with an appropriate education.
