أدلت منظمة AFC بشهادتها في جلسة الاستماع الأولية للميزانية التي عقدها مجلس مدينة نيويورك بشأن الأطفال والشباب حول الحاجة إلى التمويل المستمر لـ Promise NYC، الذي يوفر التعليم في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة وللأطفال غير المسجلين.
The City launched Promise NYC last year to increase access to early childhood programs for children who are undocumented, but the Mayor’s Preliminary Budget does not include funding to continue this crucial initiative. Without continued funding, hundreds of children risk being turned away from their program after June.
