More than 150,000 NYC Students Experienced Homelessness Last Year
This week, AFC released new data showing that more than 154,000 NYC public school students—nearly 1 in every 7—experienced homelessness last year. This made 2024–25 the tenth consecutive year in which more than 100K students did not have a permanent place to call home.
