New York<\/strong> | A growing number of New York City children are attending school without a permanent place to live, according to a new report from Advocates for Children of New York.\r\n<p data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">By the numbers:<\/p>\r\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The data shows that more than 154,000 public school students, nearly 1 in 7, experienced homelessness during the 2024\u201325 school year,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/advocatesforchildren.org\/ko\/articles\/number-of-homeless-students-in-nyc-hits-record-high-new-report-finds\/\">marking a record high.<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">The numbers represent an increase across all five boroughs, with the highest rates reported in the Bronx, where more than 17% of students were without stable housing.<\/p>\r\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">Manhattan followed with over 16%, while Staten Island saw rates above 5%, according to the organization\u2019s
