    Today, AFC and the Kowalisyon ARISE are testifying before the Panel for Educational Policy (PEP) in strong support of the Resolution Calling for Major Improvements to School Bus Service. Students should be able to get to and from school safely, reliably, and on time, and we urge the PEP to prioritize working with city and state leaders to help make this a reality for all NYC students.

    AFC submitted testimony to the New York City Council Committee on Education regarding Intro No. 853, which would require the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) to conduct a study on how language access needs, income, and geographic location affect access to special education programs and services.
