\u201cWe\u2019re really trying to target that group of students \u2014 the ones that ultimately never made it inside of the school where they actually enrolled,\u201d Rita Rodriguez-Engberg, director of AFC\u2019s Immigrant Students' Rights Project, told POLITICO. \u201cThey may have made it past the enrollment point and were told, \u2018Sorry, you\u2019re too old\u2019... those youth who came from their home country thinking they can enroll in school but ultimately didn\u2019t is really what we\u2019re trying to target with this effort.\u201d<\/p>
